Hi folks, Interceptor, anyone? Since peeps enjoyed that awesome !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! Another one for the collection and this one seems a work in progress (though Sadly, such work has been ‘going’ for about 6 months)
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Below, for your approval - Cool and well put together Jansen Interceptor III (Mark III I suppose?) I looove Interceptors - This is a car that deserves a modern revival. The one below looks very sharp - but there is work going on:
All sharp looking - Badges and even the paint (likely a recent re-spray) looks shiny:
However, there is trouble in paradise, the manuals and a thick-azz binder are on the passenger seat and it seems some tranny or AC work is going on:
Maybe the true fans of Interceptors can tell us what the hell is going on here. Lucas Electrics are to blame perhaps?
Love the delicate Steering Wheel and the interior dashboard:
Dat Azz - I Want it!! Gimme!! :

Most likely it’s HVAC work, as the 727 torqueflites in those cars are darn near indestructible. I had my center console in a few pieces just to clean it/check to make sure rodents hadn’t eaten any wires, and good lord does it look like a daunting wiring job to even attempt to work on. I like the wooden steering wheel on the later MKIII’s, mine has the flimsy leater wrapped one.
